The Northern Get-Together and Dinner is traditionally held on the 2^nd full weekend of June. It is open to non-member guests and overseas visitors are especially welcome. You can read the whole FOC history of the Harrogate Dinner Here

Our 2024 event will, as usual, be at the delightful Cedar Court Hotel, in the pretty town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Our organiser this year is Paul, G4AFU.

The Cedar Court Hotel has always been an excellent venue for our event. Harrogate is a delightful floral town nestling in the Yorkshire Dales that is at its colourful best in June. Suggested Programme:

Friday 7^th June: Check-in at the Cedar Court for two nights. Meet at the bar from 6.45pm. An informal FOC dinner will be arranged in a local restaurant for 7.30pm. TBD.  

Saturday 8^th June: Arrange your own afternoon tours. You can view a Harrogate Tour guide Here

The hotel also has a very comfortable lounge with a bar, which is a popular area for chatting and catching up with friends during the day.

Return to the Cedar Court for a FOC meeting between 4,00pm and 6,00pm. Once the meeting has concluded we will adjourn and reconvene at 7,00pm for Dinner.

Dinner Menu:

A choice of starter, main and dessert is offered in the booking system, with options to suit all tastes. A vegetarian option is available for each course.

You can select your choice when you register for the event on this website, however, if you have any special dietary requirements then please contact secretary@g4foc.org after registering.

Dinner Booking and Price:

The cost of the evening dinner is £42.00 per head.  Please be aware that the cost of the dinner ticket does not include any accommodation or other private bills incurred at the hotel bar, etc.

The dress code for the dinner is smart casual. There are no formal requirements for this event.

The Hotel is holding a limited number of rooms for both the 7^th and 8^th of June until 27^th April 2024. 

We have been advised that these rates will be: £105.00 inclusive of VAT, and per night for a double room and £110.00 inclusive of VAT,  for a twin room.

To request these rates you will need to call "reservations" on 01423 858585 [+44 1423 858585] and ask for the rate that applies to our event. This can also be done by email: reservations.harrogate@cedarcourthotels.co.uk 

In the event that all the rooms being held for us are taken make sure to ask for any availability they might have from their normal allocation which of course may be at a different rate.

Parking:

Parking at the hotel is free for hotel guests, but requires your number plate to be entered into a Computer at the hotel reception. If you forget, you may well receive a parking fine, so please pay attention to this. There are signs in the carpark with more information.
