AROUND AND ABOUT GUILDFORD:
On the 2017 weekend, many FOC members visited the Brooklands Museum https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/. This is sure to be a popular choice again. The museum offers a chance to look at classic cars, motorcycles, aircraft (including Concord), jet engines, and the famous Brooklands banked track. Former member Don G2BB, now SK, used to race there. Members who can offer help with car transport will be especially in demand!
Guildford is an historic and beautiful town with many possibilities for all weather. An article on Guildford and the local area will be published in FOCUS shortly, and you may find this local web site gives an excellent set of photos and ideas for what's on offer: http://www.guildford.gov.uk/visitguildford/seeanddo
